NAME: Edgar R. Spears
ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Spouse of "Alley"
BIO: Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Graduated from Walter L. Cohen Senior High School. In
July of 1969, I enlisted into the United States Army at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and completed my tour of duty in
1972. In 1972, I was employed by the Texas Army National Guard as a Full Time Automotive Mechanic. In
1976, I graduated from the College of the Mainland with an AA Degree in Automotive Technology. In 1983, I
was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as an Automotive Mechnaic. I also enlisted in the United States
Army Reserve with the 75th USA Manuever Area Command as a MSG-E8 with a total of 29 faithful years of
service. In 1988, I was promoted to Supervisor Customer Service, U.S. Postal Service. I have been residing
in the greater Houston area for over the past 40 years. I am very active in my church activities. I have been
married to my soul mate for over thirty years. With a dual total service of 32 years, I "Retired" on 1 August
2001.
HOBBIES: Fishing, traveling and eating. Enjoy carpentry and automobile maintenance.
