Bio: Born and raised in Galveston Texas, graduating from Ball High School, class of 80. Served as a Staff
Sergeant, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, in the United States Air Force, 1980 - 1988. Accepted
into the United States Army Aviation Warrant Officer program flying the UH-60 Blackhawk, from 1988 -
1996, as a Unit Trainer and Aviation Safety Officer. Appointed to a direct commission into the United
States Army Medical Services Corps as an Aeromedical Evacuation Officer and Maintenance Test Pilot,
achieving over 2700 flying and 130 combat hours. Retired August 2004 after 24 1/2 years of service.
Currently Senior Army Instructor, Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at Clear Brook High School.
